The fully automatic high-performance scanner combines the latest 3D scanning technology with efficiency and maximum precision. It is perfect for digitising your gemstones, jewellery pieces and other miniature objects that need to be captured three-dimensionally.

Operating principle:
The model is positioned relative to the cameras via two rotary axes, which move independently of each other and capture all surface details of the object. Using fringe light projection and two high-resolution cameras, the LightEYE² scanner generates a point cloud (measurement points) of your object, which is then converted into an STL file in the subsequent step using the supplied software. The measurement precision is below 50 µm.
Speed:
Another advantage is the speed. A gemstone is scanned fully automatically within 30 to 40 seconds. If any areas have not yet been captured, additional scan angles can be added manually at any time. This is particularly useful when scanning jewellery pieces with many surface details.
Software:
The powerful software generates a three-dimensional model from the measurement points, which is output as an STL file. The STL can then be mirrored or scaled as required. Load the STL into your 3D design software for further processing.
Compatibility:
The basic requirement for operating the 3D scanner is a PC with a Windows operating system from Win7 (64 bit) and an NVIDIA graphics card with at least 2 GB of RAM. Other operating systems and graphics card manufacturers are not supported!
